Besa is an ancient word that dates back to the Bronze Age, emerging in the regions of the Paleo-Balkans and Illyria, what is now recognised as modern Albania today.
Over centuries, it came to stand for something simple but powerful: a quiet promise of trust, protection and care. A value carried not through noise or display, but through actions and small, meaningful gestures.
We've woven that promise into every detail of what we do.
From the way we greet you at the counter to the way we pour your coffee, the Besa code lives in our small gestures — in consistency, attention, and warmth.
We're proudly rooted in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter — a place shaped by generations of makers, artisans and quiet grafters. Where silver was shaped, hallmarks were stamped and every detail mattered.
Just like the craftspeople who came before us, we're here to create something meaningful. A cup of coffee, yes — but also a feeling, a moment, a space.
